Royals looking at Brentford defender

Championship side Reading are reportedly keeping tabs on Brentford defener Karleigh Osborne, accoring to the Hounslow Chronicle.

The 23-year old has been in fine form for the Bee’s this season, helping the south London side into a very credible 8th place. However, his contract is due to run out at the end of the season.

The centre-back was offered a fresh deal to stay at Griffin Park but rejected this deal to fuel speculation he could be on his way to the Championship, with the Madejski a likely destination.

Tottenham defender Bongani Khumalo is set to return to his parent club sometime this month, meaning the Royals will need to bring in some defensive cover for Kaspars Gorkss and Alex Pearce.
