Reading have been linked with potential moves for Crystal Palace starlets Nathaniel Clyne and Wilfred Zaha.

The Daily Mirror reported the deal a few days ago, saying it could be worth around £8 million for the duo. Manchester United are also reportedly keen on the both of them, with Sir Alex Ferguson clearly impressed when the Eagles defeated the Red Devil’s back in the League Cup quarter finals in November.

Zaha, at the tender age of 19 is already an England under 21 international and has gained many admirers in the Premier League. Bolton manager Owen Coyle attempted to sign the winger in the January transfer window for £6m but Palace turned down the offer. Liverpool are another club that have declared their interest to Dougie Freedman.

Nathaniel Clyne, who operates at right back, is one of the most highly-rated young full backs in the country. The 21-year old’s contract runs out at the end of the season but a tribunal will decide a fee if he was to leave the Eagles. Clyne was also voted into the PFA Championship Team of the Year, alongside Royals defender Ian Harte.
