A round-up of all the Royals around the globe, away on international duty with their respective countries…..

Reading’s Welsh trio all played a part in yesterday’s Euro qualifier against Croatia, despite the 2-0 loss. Defender Chris Gunter started the game, while both Hal Robson-Kanu and Simon Church maintained a place on the bench. Both forward players came onto the pitch, but neither had a massive impact on the result.

As always, central defender Kaspars Gorkss captained Latvia as they picked up their first points of the campaign, against struggling Liechtenstein. Royals midfielder Jem Karacan received his first call-up for Turkey during the week, but could not make it off the bench for a first cap as Turkey lost 3-1 to Hungary.

Summer signing from Watford, Adrian Maraippa, was on the bench for Jamaica as they thumped Antigua and Barbuda 4-1. The defender has been struggling with a rib problem and wasn’t risked. Midfielder Mikele Leigertwood did not appear for the away side as he is still recovering from a dead leg suffered against Newcastle.
