The Keepmoat is becoming a lucky ground for the Royals with 2-1 and 1-0 wins in the previous two seasons, and it got even better on Saturday afternoon with a fine 3-0 victory thanks to a fantastic team performance.

With Matt Mills struggling with a back injury, Ivar Ingimarsson came into the starting line up for the first time for over 10 months as Zurab Kizhanishvili was still out with a knee injury. Andy Griffin also returned to the starting 11 with Shaun Cumming dropping to the bench despite an excellent display last weekend.

Doncaster started the better with former Royal John Oster pulling the strings in the midfield but just before the half hour we took the lead. Jimmy Kebe played a great ball over the top and Long finished well when one on one with Donny keeper Neil Sullivan.

In the second period we extended our lead when Sullivan came steaming out of his area in an attempt to collect a through ball from Mikele Leigertwood but he got nowhere near it and Kebe lobbed the ball over him into an empty net.

Jobi McAnuff scored a late third after charging down a clearance from Matthew Kilgallon and the ball ricochet into the back of the net. It sealed a fine display and another excellent win for the Royals.
