With all eyes on Manchester United and Arsenal this weekend, it would be easy to forget about little Reading and little Fulham, but trust me, it doesn’t get much bigger than this.
Steve Coppell on stickability:
‘Both teams need to win but Fulham need to win more. It would be very difficult for them to get out if they don’t win.
‘In a game like this there is always an element of nerves, an element of bottle and of people just being prepared to get a result come what may.
‘Whichever team has the most stickability is the one that will come though on Saturday.’
Marek Matejovsky returns from suspension and superstar Glen Little should be on the bench.
If he does get a run out today, it will lift the fans and the players. Little really does have the quality to change games.
Eddie Johnson is ill and Antti Niemi is still injured.
Runs his socks off, would be a great signing for anyone if Fulham do go down.
Reading are six points above the danger line and Fulham are six points below it.
Chris Foy (St Helens, Merseyside)
Massive, massive game. There’s going to be a lot of nerves, and a draw is probably the most likely result, although Reading may just nick it.
My prediction: Reading 5 Fulham 0
