Reading are reportedly challenging Liverpool to sign Milos Krasic, according to Goal.com.

The 27-year old has been linked with a move away from Juventus this summer, with the Premier League a likely destination for the Serbian winger. Liverpool are keen on a loan deal for Krasic but the Italian side are more interested in an up-front fee, which Reading will be willing to pay.

However, Krasic has quoted that he would like to join a more prestigious side, rather than Brian McDermott’s newly-promoted team. Since signing for the Serie A winners two years ago, the former CSKA player has made 40 appearances and scoring eight goals during his tenure. The Sun have reported that Brian McDermott will have a £15 million budget to strengthen on.
