Reading are reportedly showing an interest in Nottingham Forest midfielder Radoslaw Majewski, according to The Mirror.

The 25-year old has become surplus to requirements at the City Ground under Steve Cotterill and is keen to play his part in the lead up to Euro 2012, after Polish boss Franciszek Smuda has said he needs to playing to be considered in the squad.

The 5’7 attacking midfielder has already appeared for his national team eight times and will be keen to add to that tally. He made 82 appearances for Forest in the lead, scoring seven goals and making 11 for his team. Majewski is also known his long-range shooting ability.

It has become apparent that Brian McDermott is keen to add another central midfielder to his squad, after missing out on Keith Andrews on deadline day, who eventually joined West Brom, and reportedly going after Manchester City’s Owen Hargreaves on loan.
