Reading have tonight confirmed the capture of Lucas Piazon on a season-long loan from Chelsea.
The attacking midfielder has been in talks with the Royals for the past week and finally put pen to paper today.
Lucas has had four previous spells in four different countries. He joined Chelsea in 2012 from Brazil, but has only managed to make one appearance there.
Piazon has had loan spells at Malaga, Vitese and Frankfurt. He has also represented his country, Brazil, from U15s to U23s scoring 21 goals in 30 appearances.
He is a tricky player with a good left foot. Lucas can play on either wing, behind the striker and possibly even the main striker.
With the likes of Quinn, Blackman, Robson-Kanu, Mccleary and Hurtado already at the club, you’d have to think Piazon will have to work very hard and prove his talent to earn a starting spot.
An exciting signing that will hopefully get the Reading contingent off their seats.
