On the back of a 4-0 victory at Barnsley, Reading once again play up north against a Peterborough side who are struggling for consistency. Despite a good 3-1 triumph over Barnsley, they lost at the hands of Ipswich on the weekend.

Midfielder Jem Karacan also faces a late fitness test after being substituted at Barnsley, picking up a knock in that game. Winger Jimmy Kebe returned to the line up against the Tykes after injury last week but could be rested for Saturday’s game against Blackpool.

The Turkish midfielder scored a brace last week and will be keen to add to his tally. He will also have a tough job to contain a Peterborough midfield that move the ball around well.
