The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Reading and Blackburn Rovers this Tuesday.

Reading host Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday April 4 for the game at the Madejski Stadium and the match carries an 8pm kick off.

Match Day referee Adcock has officiated 24 games in 2016/17 with a return of 80 yellows and two red cards.

His highest card count this year was seven yellows in the Barnsley v Aston Villa game and he also showed seven in the Cardiff City v Huddersfield Town match.

He took in 31 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 70 yellow cards and one red card.

He was most card happy in the match between Birmingham and Sheffield Wednesday in February with five yellow cards shown.

Adcock qualified in 2000 aged 16, following in his father`s footsteps, who also officiated in the EFL. Adcock was appointed to the EFL as an assistant referee in 2008 and to the National List of Referees in 2011/12. In his five seasons at this level he has refereed over 150 EFL matches. He has also participated in the PGMO exchange programme which enable referees to gain experience of different football cultures. He has refereed games in America, Japan, China, Iceland and Denmark, enabling him to share experiences with international colleagues and learn new skills.
