League One side Coventry City are lining up a loan move for Reading starlet Jordan Obita, according to The Sun.

The 18-year old has made a good impact for the Royals in pre-season, scoring against AFC Wimbledon last month and going on the pre-season tour to Portugal a few weeks ago. Therefore, Reading boss Brian McDermott is keen to loan out the youngster to the lower leagues to gain valuable first team experience.

Obita had two loan spells at League Two clubs Barnet and Gillingham last season and during his spell with the Gills, he scored an impressive three goals in six games. The Oxford-born attacker can play on either wing, but primarily plays through the middle, behind the main striker.
