Long serving defender Ingimarsson has been out injured since last season when he injured his hamstring against Middlesbrough. He has made a number of appearances for the reserves since his return, but not in the first team, and now it seems he may be out for longer.
Suregery may be needed to cure the problem and it is not likely that he will play again before the new year.
That could be a concern for Ingimarsson as he is out of contract at the end of the season.
