Millwall have ended their interest in Reading striker Simon Church, according to NewsAtDen.co.uk.

The website reports that the Championship side offered a bid in the region of £250,000 for the Welsh international, but any move would not materialise. The reasons for this are believed to be Church’s high wage demands, as he is currently on around £15,000-a-week at Reading.

The 24-year old’s future is very much in doubt at the Madejski Stadium, with his current deal set to run out at the end of the season. I think Church appreciates he is surplus to requirements at the moment and a move a way in the summer would be best for both parties.
