Vital Reading takes a look at the opposition’s key man, ahead of our game with Charlton.

The striker came as an unknown into English football in the summer, but has made a very good early impression on the Championship. He scored four goals in his opening five games and despite his form dipping off in recent weeks, still has seven goals to his name.

He only started on the bench against Leeds, so could be promoted to the starting line-up against us, as Bob Peeters could look to exploit the likes of Pearce and Kelly. While he may not be the most physical of strikers, his sheer pace makes him a nuisance for defenders at this level.

You would imagine, if he did start, that Hector would do a man marking job on him, to not leave Pearce exposed. Pearce had a comfortable game against Rotherham as he wasn’t faced with any pace in Revell and Derbyshire; Vetokele could provided a sterner test for him.
