Jimmy Kebe was forced to miss the Royals 4-2 win over Southampton with a groin injury and it could be set to keep him on the sidelines for the visit of Scunthorpe next weekend.

Kebe has been in fine form in pre season and was man of the match in Tuesdays win over Wolves, however he picked up the injury in that game and was forced off.

After the win at St Mary’s, Brian McDermott kepts his cards close to his chest when speaking to the Official Site, ‘He has a groin injury so we will see if he is going to be ready for Saturday.’

Hal Robson Kanu or Michail Antonio stand by to take his place if he does miss out.
