It’s been a long time coming, Armstrong especially, but our to long term injury victims are set to feature in a behind closed doors friendly on Tuesday afternoon. The Royals second string will face Brighton at Hogwood, and Ingimarsson and Armstrong will start.
Both are likely to play 45 minutes following long injury layoffs, to step up their recovery after returns to training.
The game will also give Lee Hendrie the chance to show what he can do, whilst Noel Hunt is also expected to take part as he bids to gain valuable match practise.
