Guthrie linked with Royals move

Free agent Danny Guthrie is interesting Premier League newboys Reading, according to the Daily Mail.

The 26-year old was released by Newcastle yesterday, prompting interest from the Royals and fellow Premier League sides Aston Villa and West Brom. Reading are keen to add to their midfield during the transfer period, with Barnsley captain Jacob Butterfield heavily linked with a move to the Madejski Stadium.
