Reading travel to Craven Cottage tomorrow for a 1.30 kick off. They will be followed by almost 4,000 Royals fans. This will hopefully give the players a bigger incentive to bring back the three points to Berkshire. Fulham have been rather inconsistent this season and Reading will need to be ruthless to pile on the pressure on the Fulham manager.

Predicted Line-ups

Fulham- Lewis; Richards, Stearman, Ream, Garbutt; Cairney, Christensen, Tunnicliffe, Pringle; Mccormack, Dembele.

Reading- Al-Habsi; Gunter, Hector, McShane, Obita; Mccleary, Norwood, Williams, Piazon; Vydra, Blackman

Fulham Team News:

Fulham’s best player this season, O’hara, is suspended. Scott Parker is probably not match fit, so Tunnicliffe will be called into action. Moussa Dembele and Mccormack will be looking to continue their impressive partnership up-front. On-loan left back, Luke Garbutt, will also be looking to start.

Player to watch: Ross Mccormack

Mccormack is up their with the best striker’s in the league, hence the hefty price tag. His goal scoring record has been respectable where ever he’s been. He’s also not just about goals, he likes to drop off and play between the line and that’s exactly what the Reading defence will have to look out for. Every time he drops off it’ll allow space for the pacey Dembele which has the potential to cause us problems.

Reading Team News:

Reading will still be without Stephen Quinn and Robson-Kanu, but Bond and Ferdinand returned to full training yesterday. However, Al-Habsi and Hector are more than likely going to keep their places. Vydra will be hoping to start and get his Reading career off to a start.

Player to watch: Matej Vydra

Vydra has had a tough start to his Reading career, getting injured after just three games. He came back to the bench on Tuesday night and was the subject of some criticism on social media after his display. With Blackman and Sa on fine form, Vydra will need to perform to his best if he wants to take a starting spot.

Did You Know?

During the last six fixtures between these two sides, Fulham have won three, lost two, drew one.

Match Prediction:

This is going to be another intriguing game on Saturday with two top teams going head to head. If Fulham turn up, it’ll be a very, very tight match. However, I feel Reading will just have too much in terms of attacking prowess with Vydra, Blackman and Sa all scoring. 3-1.

Next Fixtures:

31st October- Brighton (H)

3rd November- Huddersfield (H)

7th November- Cardiff (A)
