Reading’s first televised game of the season will take place against Queens Park Rangers.

The Championship fixture which was due to be played on Saturday 9th November, kicking off at 3pm, has now been selected to be televised on Sky Sports. This means that the kick off time has been moved forward to 12.15pm, not 12.45pm compared to last seasons early kick offs.

The Royals’ last game against Harry Redknapp’s side was the fixture where both sides were relegated live on Sky Sports back in April. We were fighting against relegation then, lets hope it is two sides fighting for promotion this time round! (Or maybe just us…)

On the topic of fixtures, two changes were made to the schedule last week. The game at Nottingham Forest was set for 30th November and will now take place on Friday 29th November, kick off 7:45pm. The home fixture with Middlesbrough, set for for Monday 21st April, will now take place on Tuesday 22nd April, kicking off at 8pm.
