Duo set to extend Pompey loan

Reading’s Mikkel Andersen and Jordan Obita are set to extend their long spells at Portsmouth for another month.

The 23-year old goalkeeper has made six appearances for the League One outfit, keeping one clean sheet so far. The Danish U21 international was also the hero for Pompey in the JPT Cup against local rivals Bournemouth, as he saved the first penalty of the shootout and becoming eventual winners.

Obita, 18, also joined the cash-strapped club on loan last month and has had very mixed time at Fratton Park. The England U19 international scored on his debut against Colchester in August, but was sent off against Oldham two games later, leading to a three-game ban which has hindered his promising progress.
