Reading have only 21 points left to play for in this year’s battle in the Championship.
With the games dwindling down now at the real business end of the campaign as Reading find themselves heading towards the end of May, sitting in fourth place in the table in the Play Off spots and importantly with a seven point gap to Sheffield Wednesday in seventh place, hopes of promotion remain more than alive.
With a ten point gap to Brighton in second place though, even with 21 points still available that would seem to be a long shot at this point but if the side can build on back to back victories and extend that run, it remains mathematically possible and has to be the aim.
With that being the focus though, eyes shouldn’t shift from solidifying ourselves further in the Play Off spots to ensure we have a small season extension and Wembley hopes.
