Reading have only 15 points left to play for in this year’s battle in the Championship.
With the games dwindling down now at the real business end of the campaign as Reading find themselves heading towards the end of May, sitting in fourth place in the table in the Play Off spots and importantly with a six point gap to Fulham in seventh place following the heavy defeat to Norwich City, hopes of promotion remain more than alive but Norwich had to be a blip.
With an eleven point gap to Newcastle United in second place though, even with 15 points still available that is now a long shot but a return to winning ways quickly would secure a mathematical Play Off spot in the coming matches.
With that being the focus, eyes shouldn’t shift from solidifying ourselves further in the Play Off spots to ensure we have a small season extension and Wembley hopes.
