It has been reported that new proposed Reading owner Anton Zingarevich will be arriving in the town tomorrow after gaining his visa.

The 29-year old Russian tycoon is set to arrive in the town tomorrow for the first time in around 10 years, having educated at Bearwood College in the town and moving onto university in New York.

Royals boss Brian McDermott, who has met with Zingarevich in Milan before, told the Reading Evening Post: ‘It`s different to me and it`s been a different way of working so far, it takes time too. We all have to formulate the best way that we can work together.’

‘At the moment it`s difficult as the owner is in another country. It would be great to see him again and we can sit down and really nail down how everything will work. But at the moment we`re working through it and that`s the most important thing.”

His representative, Chris Samuelson, has been the only face known of Thames Sports Investments so far. Zingarevich provided McDermott with relevant funding to bring in some of his targets, with the most costly being Jason Roberts from Blackburn.
