Wise Keen to Keep Stack

Dennis Wise has expressed his wish to keep Reading keeper Graham Stack should the opportunity arise.

Wise also hopes to sign 27-year-old Danish stopper Casper Ankergren from Brondby on a permanent deal too.

Stack, 25 could find this to be a tempting offer as in his absence it would seem his replacement Adam Federici has more to the occasion and could very well maintain his no2 spot even if Stack returns to Reading.

A place at Leeds could be quite appealing to Stack as there is the chance of first team football meanwhile at Reading Stack barely made ripples in the water hardly challenging for a first team place permanently.

Dennis Wise commented that: ‘They’ve shown they are well capable in this league and at a higher level as well,’ he told the club’s official website.

‘Both Casper and Stacky have done great – it’s good competition and this is what I was looking for.

‘I’m not frightened of either of them going in and I’d like to keep them both. They’re on loan, but I’d like to keep them.’

Personally I think Federici will become Reading`s long term no2. I don`t think ti will be too long before he is no1 going by what we have seen of him so far!
