It was quite a surprise on Friday when it was announced on the official Reading website, that we were to get a new away kit. It couldn’t be any worse than that orange mess from last season, so surely it must be a good thing.
Imagine my shock when I logged on, on Saturday morning to see Noel Hunt modelling what appeared to be the Republic of Ireland away kit. Unfortunatly it was indeed our new away kit and I am sure I was not the only person to think that it must have been modelled on a waitrose carrier bag.

Looks as if Waitrose may have had a say judging by the colours – I was getting worried you’d copy us (AGAIN) by having red and black hoops… *Tongue in cheek!!!*
It is that bad the Puma logo looks as if it is trying to jump off the shirt…….
