Reading’s under 21 side came out victorious in a seven-goal thriller against Luton at Hogwood yesterday.

The opposition have had a very good record this season, having won all of their games so far his season, but Royals midfielder Shepherd Murombedzi put Msrtin Kuhl’s side infront. This good early start was in vein though, as the Hatters equalised minutes later.

Reading regained the lead though, as the hot prospect of Gozie Ugwu converted a penalty. Aaron Tshibola, who is bordering on the first team, then added a third just before half time. Shortly into the second, Ugwu netted his second with a good finish.

At 4-1 to Reading though, the game was far from over. Luton responded with two goals late on to provide a nervy finish, but the Royals came out victorious. They will next face Tottenham’s under 21 side away on Monday 4th November.
