Irish trialist Conor Sinnott will play for the Reading reserves this afternoon in a behind closed doors game v Bristol City.

The 19 year old midfielder is currently in his 3rd week of a trial. He is a former Irish youth international who played for Bray Wanderers in the Eircom League but is available in a free should Reading decide to sign him.

Reserves manager Brian McDermott told the official site:

‘The gaffer wanted us to have a game because a few of the lads need a full 90 minutes. I spoke to City because they’re always a good club to play against and it gives us a chance to look at Conor. He’s done alright in training and we need to see him in a game. He’s done fine considering he’s got no experience at this level, he’s been training with our first team and he’s a smashing lad as well.’

Also playing are: Graham Stack, Chris Makin, Stephen Hunt, Sekou Baradji, John Oster and Eric Obinna.
