Trading Places: Seol and Rosenior

As the transfer window inched ever closer to closing Reading and Fulham did a swap deal involving Seol Ki-Hyeon and Liam Rosenior.

Reading’s Korean international Ki-Hyeon has left the Madejski for Craven Cottage, singing a three-year contract, while former England under 21 international Rosenior moves in the opposite direction, also signing a three-year contract here.

It is sad to see Ki-Hyeon leave Reading as he is a fine footballer, but Rosenior is also a footballer that I have rated quite highly for some time.

Good luck to Ki-Hyeon, but now Reading must welcome Rosenior, who will do really well here.

i’d say you got the better of that deal!

I don’t know, I always thought Soel was good, probably underrated. In the long run though Rosenior is the better option, so you could well be right.
