With great thanks to Vital Leeds editor Daz, we ask a few questions about his club and Saturday’s game….

————————————————————

1) What are your hopes and expectations for the season?

I think it is wide open this season and I actually think the standard is very poor. We have hardly played well this season yet we are still in sixth. I cannot see us strengthening much in January whilst everyone else will. I can see us once again finishing just outside the play offs.

2) What are your strengths and weaknesses as a team?

Although we do not seem to be conceding the silly goals we were earlier in the season the defence still worries me. Kisnorbo has no pace and when faced with a speedy forward he struggles.

Our strength is that we are always likely to score goals.

3) Who are the player/s to look out for?

Robert Snodgrass is getting back to his best and he is in great goal scoring form at the moment having netted six goals in his last five games.

Luciano Becchio has finally got a run of games under his belt and he will soon be banging in the goals again.

4) What’s your current opinion of Simon Grayson?

Working within the budget he is I think he is doing well. I think he is under a lot of pressure from Bates to get us promotion this year but to do this on free transfers and loan signings will be difficult. A few bad results and I can see him down the job centre with Bates having an itchy trigger finger. The thing is, who would we bring in to replace him to work within the parameters Bates sets.

5) What’s your prediction for the game?

Both games were really tight last season and I can see another tight game on Saturday. I can see us pinching it 1-0.
