With great thanks to Vital Donny Ed, Daz, we ask a few questions on his club and our upcoming game tomorrow…….

————————————————————-

1) What are your hopes and expectations for the season?

As it stands, I will take fourth from bottom. Was actually quietly confident before the season started but the injury to Billy Sharp on the opening day as been a killer.

2) What are your strengths and weaknesses as a team?

Defensively we are making too many mistakes at the moment. Most of the goals that Rovers are conceding are usually coming from a lack of concentration and they are being punished most of the time.

3) Who are the player/s to look out for?

Kyle Bennett is lightning fast in midfield. He has been the one main shining light so far this season.

4) Do you feel your gaffer is under pressure at the moment?

It`s very difficult, I think Rovers have a chairman that will give him plenty of time to turn things around. The injury crisis must be taken into consideration but I think there a few players hiding behind this fact and need to improve their own personal performance.

5) Who is to blame for your current bad run?

Quite simply injuries. Since the turn of 2011, Rovers have had a horrendous run with injuries. Before a ball was kicked this season, Rovers had eight players on the injury list and most were long term. On the opening day, we lose the leading goalscorer Billy Sharp long term as well as his strike partner James Hayter. In the second game, we lose Ryan Mason who is on loan from Tottenham Hotspur for over a month after he`s on the end of a poor tackle.

6) How is John Oster getting on with you guys?

I like John Oster; he is very consistent and goes about his game with no fuss. You always know what you are going to get with him and it`s not often he lets you down.

7) Prediction for the game?

We have a shocking record against Reading and after somehow managing to lose the game at the Madejski last season I am not optimistic.

Reading are also struggling at the moment so it could be a very nervy game. I am worried that Adam Le Fondre, who has just signed for you from one of our old rivals Rotherham United, will bite us on the backside.
