We take a look at some team news and possible starting XIs ahead of our cup encounter with Arsenal tonight.

Arsene Wenger is set to ring the changes for his side, as he did in the previous round against Nottingham Forest. Carl Jenkinson is expected to make his first appearance of the season after recovering from injury, while Lucas Perez will have his chance to prove himself.

There are also two big names expected to return for the Gunners, albeit off the substitutes bench. Striker Olivier Giroud is to return after his injury lay-off, while Aaron Ramsey will also be in the squad and could get some needed minutes to rebuild his fitness.

Stam is also expected to make a few changes tonight, as he aims to give some of his fringe players a run out. One enforced change will be Tennai Watson coming in for Chris Gunter, who will miss this game after picking up his fifth booking of the season against Rotherham.

Goalkeeper Annsi Jaakkola is expected to start between the sticks, despite missing the previous few games due to injury. Stephen Quinn should be in the squad in his return from the treatment table, but it will be too early for Jake Cooper and Yakou Meite.

Predicted line-ups:

Arsenal – 4-2-3-1:
Ospina; Jenkinson, Holding, Gabriel, Gibbs; Eleneny, Coquelin; Maitland-Niles, Reine-Adelaide, Iwobi; Perez.

Reading – 4-3-3: Jaakkola; Watson, McShane, Moore, Blackett; Evans, Kelly, Swift; McCleary, Kermorgant, Harriot.
