After a long ten-day break and a little trip to sunny Spain, we are back in league action away at fellow strugglers Nottingham Forest. We take a look at some team news.

Forest’s injury list is not looking very pretty at the moment, as they are likely to be missing several defenders. Michael Mancienne has been suffering from illness, while fellow central defenders Jack Hobbs and Joe Worrall are still both on the treatment table for the hosts.

They won’t be helped by the fact right-back Eric Lichaj was sent off against Burton and will miss this game. Injury stricken Chris Cohen remains sidelined, while strikers Apostolos Vellios and Daryl Murphy have also been hit by the sickness bug in the Forest camp.

The biggest positive on the injury front will be John Swift returning to the squad, as he travelled and trained in Spain last week. Skipper Paul McShane is still a few weeks away from a return, while loanee Tommy Elphick is unlikely to feature again until Easter due a knee injury.

Striker Joseph Mendes is still in light training, so won’t be considered for a return just yet, while Callum Harriott is still nursing his recovery from a long-term injury. Jordan Obita was back out on grass this week after his ACL injury, but is still unlikely to feature this season.
