Reading striker Brett Williams has rejoined League One side Rotherham United after recovering from a thigh problem which hindered his previous spell.

Williams joined the Millers two months ago in a deal with relation to the Adam Le Fondre deal that saw the striker come to the Royals in the opposite direction for £350k.

The former Eastleigh striker signed from Eastleigh in January for a nominal fee but is yet to make a first team appearance for Reading, despite making the bench for a league game in February.

The 23-year old only made one appearance for Andy Scott’s side coming against rivals Swindon Town before picking up a thigh injury where he was sent back to Berkshire to recover.
