Both Football League teams put their impressive League forms aside, as Reading enter the FA Cup to face last years opponents Stevange, who are flying high in League One at the moment, currently occupying the play-off positions.

Vital Quotes:

Reading manager Brian McDermott – I`ll pick a team that I think has every chance of winning the game. Their manager Graham Westley knows what he`s doing. He`s a bit different, which I like, and he`s his own man and does things his own way.’

Stevenage manager Graham Westley – ‘We know they’ve changed. Long has moved on, it was obvious when he played against us that he was destined for greatness because he was a real handul. It is an exciting draw.’

Reading Team News:

Defender Andy Griffin could still be out with a back injury, with Ian Harte waiting on standby. It is expected McDermott will name a full strenth side with two extra subs, with Mathieu Manset likely to return to the sideline from injury.

Player to watch: Adam Le Fondre

The prolific has striker has failed to score in 13 consecutive games but will be keen to re-open his account against lower league opposition.

Stevenage Team News:

Chuks Aneke was sent off last week against Leyton Orient so will not be available for this game. This could mean Luke Freeman or Stacy Long could return to the starting XI.

Player to watch: Michael Bostwick

The central midfielder has been in great form as of late, putting in some instrumental performances in the heart of the Stevenage midfield.

Match Prediction:

It will be a tough encounter but if McDermott sticks with his usual FA Cup selection policy (first team) then I can see a hard fought 2-0 win.
