As expected Charlton have completed the loan signing of Reading defender Sam Sodje.
Sodje had been tipped to join his brother Akpo at Sheffield Wednesday, but Charlton came in with a late counter offer and they have completed his signing.
He will spend the rest of the season with Charlton, quite possibly signing permanently next summer.

It is a shame to see Sam go, but good luck to him anyway. Surprised that he didn’t go to Sheffield Wednesday though.
