A number of first team players will be on international duty when the Royals travel to Torquay on Wednesday night, we try and figure out exactly who will play!

Definitly out on international duty are –

Gylfi Sigurdsson
Simon Church
Hal Robson Kanu
Adam Federici
Alex McCarthy
Jake Taylor

Definitly out injured –

Shane Long
Chris Armstrong
Ivar Ingimarsson

Injury doubts from Saturday –

Matt Mills
Jobi McAnuff
Jem Karacan
Jimmy Kebe

So that leaves a very thin squad with a number of youngsters expected to be included in the travelling squad, including goalkeeper Simon locke who will act as understudy to Ben Hamer.

Either Brynjar Gunnarsson or Andy Griffin will have to be deployed at centre back if Mills is absent, so Jay Tabb and Brian Howard should return to the centre of midfield. There could then be a run out for Shaun Cummings at right back, with Grzegorz Rasiak sure to start upfront. Michail Antonio can also count himself likely to start.

Noel Hunt said on Twitter on Saturday that is hoping to be fit though, so some welcome injury news for Brian McDermott’s side!
