After the Gunners finished their Champions League group games this week, manager Arsene Wenger said he is looking to loan out Wilshere for the remainder of the season to get him some valuable first team experience.
Brendan Rodgers was quick off the mark and made an early move for Wilshere but Wenger declared that the 17 year old will move to a team in the Premiership, or at the very worst top of the Championship, ruling us out on both counts!
Back in the summer Wilshere was tipped as someone who could make a surprise bid for Fabio Cappello’s England world cup squad, but he has only featured in 5 games this season and only 2 of them have been in the Premier League.
