The player that is probably excelling the most out of all of our loanee’s is probably goalkeeper Mikkel Andersen, who is enjoying a loan spell at Portsmouth. The Danish under 21 international has impressed the Pompey faithful during his current two-month tenure at Fratton Park, who sit 17th in the League One table.

Promising, young defender Michael Hector has made seven appearances for League One outfit Shrewsbury Town, but has been dropped to the bench for the past two games. Youth striker Gozie Ugwu is currently with Yeovil Town, where he is mainly used as an impact substitute by Gary Johnson. He a credible three goals so far.

Left back Joe Mills has been dropped from the Burnley starting XI in recent weeks, with Eddie Howe’s defence shipping goals on a regular basis this season. Brett Williams has scored just one goal for Woking so far, while Irish striker Karl Sheppard is yet to make a huge impact at Accrington with the same goal tally.
