Reading have been linked with a move for Fulham striker Marcello Trotta.
The 20-year old is currently available for loan from the London club, who already have capable striking options. TalkSport is reporting that Nigel Adkins is considering a move for the Italian player, to solve his current striker problem.
Any move for the former Brentford loanee would be a loan move, a type of transfer that Adkins himself has said he wants to avoid at all possible. I still don’t think this would solve the problem, we need an experienced player, that has Premier League experience.
Joseph Akpala could well be a back up option if all else fails, but I would still be in favour of us trying our luck for Cameron Jerome or Mladen Petric. Both names have experienced the top division and would be a great asset at this level.
