Reading have been linked with a move for Thomas Hitzlsperger, who is currently a free agent.
The Daily Star have said that Nigel Adkins is lining up a move for the former German international, who was released by Everton at the end of last season. However, the long-range specialist has struggled with injuries recently, only playing 28 games in the past three seasons.
I’m not sure that we need another central midfielder on our books, considering we already have five and a few youth players capable. What we need is another striker, so if you are going to make up rubbish, make sure it is plausabible rubbish!
