Reading have been linked with a move for free agent Nicky Bailey this morning.
According to Sky Sports, a number of clubs are considering offering a contract to the 29-year old, who was released by Middlesbrough this summer. Fellow Championship clubs QPR, Bolton, Blackburn, Burnley and Ipswich are also tracking the former Charlton player.
Bailey primarily plays as a central midfielder and is an accomplished passer of the ball, so would make sense if Adkins is looking at him. However, with very limited Premier League experience, I doubt that Adkins will want him for the long-term.
