The media have plucked out a bit of an odd rumour, linking the Royals with midfielder Martin Spelmann.
Sky Sports have reported that the Danish midfielder is being tracked by Nigel Adkins and is keen on the move to Berkshire. The 26-year old is currently playing AC Horsens, who were recently relegated from the Danish Premier League, so is reportedly keen on a move away to England.
Spelmann is primarily a defensive midfielder, but has the capability to cover both defensive flanks. Is this a player we should be looking at, considering his lack of experience in England? I suppose all we can do is put faith in Adkins to bring in the right players for him.
