Royals Linked With Carlton Cole

There are reports in the weekend’s Sunday papers that Reading are about to make a bid in the summer for Chelsea striker Carlton Cole.

It could be one of those stories you take with a pinch of Salt seeing as one of the papers was the News Of The World.

Never the less, the Under-21 international has made just one start for Chelsea this season and that was in a weakened side that faced Huddersfield in the FA Cup.

Reading aren’t the only club being linked with Cole, the People says Cole could join Israel’s Hapoel Tev Aviv on-loan as part of a link-up between the two clubs through Blues owner Roman Abramovich.
