A injury update of all the Reading players who are currently on the medical table and how much longer we can expect them to be out for…

——————————————————————-

Malian winger Jimmy Kebe has said he hopes to be back in training by next week, attempting to recover from a hamstring injury picked up in pre-season. The 27-year old tweeted to his followers on Wednesday, saying: ‘Doctor seen this morning for an injection on my hamstring…it’s getting better though, should be back for training in 10 days hopefully.’

Talismanic forward Jason Roberts has also not appeared for the Royals yet this season, still nursing a calf problem suffered in the pre-season tour of Portugal. The former Blackburn man could however return to light training by next week and appear for the U21 side in the coming weeks.

Goalkeeper Adam Federici was forced to pull out of the Australia squad during the week, after picking up an injury which prevented him from playing for the Socceroo’s. The extent of the injury is unknown, but Federici should be fit for the visit of Tottenham next Sunday.
