These days the antics of Reading Football Club attracts the interest of the broadsheet papers every weekend, here is what a couple of them had to say about the draw at Sheffield United.

Reading’s relentless march towards the Premiership continues, though with a touch more ruthlessness this might have been a leap and not merely a step in that direction. Having spent much of the match trying to contain a vibrant Sheffield United, the Championship leaders were presented with a wonderful chance to pilfer all three points when Mark Halsey awarded a penalty in the last minute after Paddy Kenny upended Bobby Convey.
