Reading are considering a move for Hull defender Paul McShane, following the departure of captain Matt Mills to Leicester.

The 25-year old spent the last half of the previous season on loan at Barnsley and the Tykes were keen on making a permanent move but it didn’t materialise.

The Republic of Ireland international has had spells with Sunderland, West Brom and Brighton but is still unsure over his current future with Hull City.

McShane has made 63 appearances for Hull with McDermott being a keen admirer of the Irishman.

However, reports have stated that McDermott won’t get to spend a penny of the transfer fee recieved for Mills, at the expense of the clubs unsecure financial situation.

Don’t worry about a fee, you can have him for nothing, in fact, if you want paying to take him I’m happy to contribute a few quid and I’m also happy to drop him off whenever you’re ready.

Lambrettaman, I think you speak on the behalf of many Hull fans or maybe any team that has had to put up with him for that matter. Tried to find videos of his good bits and found a video 9 minutes long showing all his mistakes, it was horrible to watch.
