Reading snuck to a 2-1 victory in their final game of the Swedish tour against Swedish top flight outfit Orgryte IS despite Cameroon triallist Andre Bikey receiving his marching orders.
Bobby Convey and Seol Ki-Hyeon were Reading’s scorers in a high tempo game and their was more good news for the Royals as James Harper came through his first 45 minutes this pre-season while Captain Graeme Murty also appeared for an hour after a short lay off.
Shane Long managed to get 30 minutes under his belt in the wake of the ankle injury he picked up against Lanna GoiF.
Andre Bikey received a red card for an off the ball incident towards the end of the first half in his last appearance for the Royals as a triallist. His future may now be in doubt although he has given a good account of himself in the other two games he has appeared in.

as a liverpool fan i say good luck to the new boys, but i think reading and watford are going down.
I think reading will do brilliant in the premiership because they have consistancy. It will be even better when they sign some more players and their squad is even stronger!!
hello all at reading vital football, i am from the arsenal site, i have been relly impressed with the way that reading have played over the past few seasons, and i just wanted to say all the best for the up coming season, you deserve to be in the primership and i hope you stay up, good luck lads
Congratulations on your excellent season, some sterner opposition in pre-season would have been better preparation, this is now the premiership and there are no easy teams, so good luck for the coming season.
And a good start to the season too!
