Reading have been drawn with Crawley Town in the third round tie of the FA Cup.

The tie between the two sides will take place at the Broadfield Stadium on Saturday 5th January, kicking off at 3pm, with the date liable to change. Richie Barker’s side have already faced Premier League opposition this season in the Capital One Cup, as they lost 2-1 to Swansea.

The Red Devils currently sit ninth in League One, having won promotion last season under current Rotherham boss Steve Evans. It will also be a reunion of a very notable face in Royals folklore, as former boss Steve Coppell is currently the director of football at Crawley.
