Reading are close to signing Motherwell winger Chris Humphrey on a free, according to the Reading Post.
The Jamaican international is set to become out of contract with the SPL side next month and is aware of interest from the recently-relegated side. The source believes that Royals boss Nigel Adkins has enquired about signing him and the player in question is keen on the move.
Humphrey, who has appeared 38 times for Stuart McCall’s side this campaign, is also being chased by Brian McDermott at Leeds United. He is a winger with blistering pace and is coming into his peak as a winger at the age of 25, it could be a good bit of business!
