Following the 1-0 defeat to Leicester on Monday night, Brendan Rodgers appeared to fault stand in right back Jay Tabb for the error which cost’s us the only goal of the game. From the corner in stoppage time at the end of the first half, Martyn Waghorn’s looping header found its way in at the far post over a stranded Tabb.

However with a free man inside the six yard box, I feel Tabb was quite right to push out and mark the man.

Rodgers told Readingfc.co.uk, On an outswinging corner, we have someone on the back post and tonight he wasn’t doing his job. That cost us, the guy in that position should know, he’s worked with me for long enough.

What do you think – Was Tabb at fault for the goal? Let us know your thoughts below…

I thinks it smacks of desperation, laying the blame at players feet so openly shows he is trying to deflect any blame at himself.
